"Information spread about a new mobilization to be announced in the country does not reflect the truth."

Modern.az reports that this was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia.

He said that such rumors are considered a provocation on the eve of elections.

"They are trying to escalate the situation in our country, to create a negative mood in society. For example, posts are spread on social networks calling citizens to contract military service with the slogan "Don't wait for mobilization, sign up for service for money." It is clear that this is either a paid campaign or disinformation purposefully spread by the enemy," Medvedev said.
