The youngest son of the President of Belarus, Nikolay Lukashenka, is serving in the army.
Modern.az reports that the head of state, Alexander Lukashenka, made a statement to journalists,
“My youngest son is already serving in the army. Nop even knew about it. Viktor (Minister of Defense Viktor Khrenin - ed.) called. According to the rules, he serves in the army like everyone else. He is a lieutenant. I will not say where he is, but he is in the most difficult unit,” the head of state said.
Alexander Lukashenka noted that Nikolay also focuses on in-depth study of biotechnologies, the main specialty of his higher education, in his free time.
