Kazakhstan will conduct underwater search and explosion operations in the Caspian Sea, where oil pipelines are planned to be laid.
Modern.az reports that “Sputnik Kazakhstan” disseminated information about this.
It was stated that specialists from the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan will carry out underwater search and explosion operations in the area where pipelines are planned to be laid to the “Kalamkas-More” and “Khazar” fields.
The main purpose of the works is to detect and neutralize dangerous and explosive objects on the seabed that may hinder the laying of pipelines.
After these measures, oil pipelines are planned to be safely laid in that area.
