11 soldiers were killed as a result of an explosion at a Syrian Arab Army facility in the Ayash region, west of Deir ez-Zor province, Syria.

A farewell ceremony was held for the fallen soldiers on Saturday. The ceremony took place in front of the National Hospital in Deir ez-Zor.
Representatives of the military command, relatives and comrades-in-arms of the fallen participated in the farewell ceremony.
After the ceremony, the bodies of the soldiers were buried.
