US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff spoke optimistically about the outcome of indirect talks with the Iranian delegation within the framework of the UN General Assembly.

He stated that long-term talks were held with the Iranian delegation within the framework of the UN General Assembly. Mediators participated in the meetings and coordinated between the parties throughout the day.
"They successfully completed the next stage of discussions. We hope that these discussions will be constructive and promising," Witkoff wrote.
According to the US President's special envoy, the mediators will continue their activities.
It should be noted that earlier it was reported that Witkoff and US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner met with the Iranian delegation on Tuesday within the framework of the UN General Assembly.
US President Donald Trump announced that the meeting lasted three hours and "went very well."
