Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that he is ready to hold a new meeting with US President Donald Trump. The time for the next talks between Moscow and Washington has not yet been determined.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov in a statement to journalists.
Peskov said that Putin is ready for a Russia-US meeting.
"The Russian President is ready. Presidents Putin and Trump always emphasize their readiness to hold another meeting in due course, if the need arises during telephone conversations," Peskov said.
However, according to him, there is no concrete information yet regarding new talks.
It should be noted that in the summer of 2025, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump held a meeting in Anchorage, Alaska. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
