Iran's defense systems are designed to show that strikes on the country's cities will not go unanswered.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
"The military power we possess is precisely to defend our country. We do not ask anyone for permission or consent to protect our country and our people," the Iranian leader said.
Pezeshkian also touched upon the situation in the Gaza Strip. According to him, despite the ongoing losses and large-scale destruction, what happened strengthened people's belief in resistance.
"It is not possible to destroy resistance with bombs and siege. This is human nature. If a person is expelled from his land, he will resist. If his houses are bombed, subjected to aggression and attacks, he will resist. What other choice does he have? To surrender to fear?" Pezeshkian said.
