A reinforcement bar embedded in the asphalt in the middle of the road in the direction of Əhməd Rəcəbli Street, Narimanov district, Baku, damaged one of the cars. The incident occurred at night, and due to the absence of warning signs in the area, drivers were unaware of the danger awaiting them on the road.
Modern.az contacted the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA) to clarify the matter. The Agency stated that, in accordance with the State Program, the construction of a new highway is being carried out in the direction of Koroğlu - Hasan Aliyev avenues. For this reason, traffic has been temporarily restricted on a certain section of Əhməd Rəcəbli Street, while two-way traffic has been ensured in the opposite direction.
Furthermore, a contracting company operates in the area, and relevant instructions have been given to this company regarding the implementation of additional safety measures.
The Agency also noted that citizens can directly contact the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads for the investigation and compensation of damages.
