The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) has updated its official casualty statistics regarding the US-Iran war.
Modern.az reports that more than 140 wounded servicemen have been added to the Pentagon's Defense Casualty Analysis System (DCAS). At the same time, a new category called "Overseas Operations" has been created for the registration of killed and wounded servicemen as of July 7.
According to updated data, during the operation called "Operation Epic Fury", which is considered the first phase of the conflict, 14 US servicemen were killed and more than 400 servicemen received injuries of various degrees.
According to the latest Pentagon statistics, a total of 18 servicemen have been killed and 624 servicemen have been wounded since the US began military operations against Iran on February 28.
