Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi had a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

Modern.az reports that Araqchi informed about this on his "Telegram" channel.

It was stated that the parties discussed the latest events in the world and the region.

On July 24, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko announced that Sergey Lavrov's visit to Tehran was in the preparatory stage.
