Zelensky: We hit Russian targets in the Caspian Sea

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the country's forces carried out long-range strikes on military and logistical facilities located in various regions of Russia overnight.

Modern.az reports that Zelensky shared this on his social media account.

According to him, the strikes targeted an enterprise located in Russia's Kirov region, which produces components for equipment used in attacks against Ukraine. The President noted that the facility is located approximately 1200 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

Zelensky stated that the oil refinery in Tyumen, the logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and the fuel and lubricants warehouse in Rostov-on-Don were also targeted.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized that long-range operations in the Caspian Sea also yielded successful results. According to him, ships used for transporting military cargo between Russia and Iran, and a warship, were hit.

The Security Service of Ukraine announced that as a result of the attack, the "Molniya" missile boat, the "Port Olya 2" and Begey cargo ships carrying military cargo between Russia and Iran, as well as the oil production platform at the Filanovsky field, were hit.

In addition, according to the agency, the radar station of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system, the "Tor-M2" anti-aircraft missile system, the "Pole-21" electronic warfare system, and warehouses storing FPV drones in Rostov-on-Don were also targeted.

The Russian side has not yet made an official statement regarding these claims.
