In Georgia, on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Victory over fascism, one-time financial assistance will be paid to World War II veterans and family members of those killed in Georgia.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the order of the Georgian government.
According to the decision, participants of the Second World War will be given 2 thousand lari (1,266.22 manats-ed), and family members of those killed in the war will be given one thousand lari (633.22 manats-ed).
Financial support will be extended to veterans and martyr families registered in the electronic database of the Service for Work with Veterans.
According to the information, in regions other than Tbilisi, payments will be made by the Social Service Agency of the Ministry of Health of Georgia. Funds for veterans and family members registered in the capital will be allocated by the Tbilisi City Hall.
It should be noted that, according to the Order of President Ilham Aliyev, this year a one-time financial assistance of 2,750 manats will be given to those who participated in the Second World War in 1941-1945.
