The indictment against 19 defendants, including Tanju Özcan, the suspended mayor of Bolu, Turkey, has been accepted by the court.
Modern.az reports that in the 178-page document accepted by the Bolu 3rd High Criminal Court, the former mayor is requested to be imprisoned for a total of 90 years and 3 months to 263 years and 6 months for bribery, fraud, and extortion crimes.
The first court hearing for the criminal case, which has a total of 41 victims, will be held on July 6.
