The date when the final results of the parliamentary elections held in Armenia on June 7 will be announced has been revealed.
Modern.az reports that the chairman of the country's Central Election Commission (CEC), Vaagn Hovakimyan, made a statement about this.
The CEC chairman stated that the final results of the voting will be announced on June 14:
"Until then, the process of recounting votes will be officially carried out. There will be certain adjustment stages, and incoming complaints and applications will be evaluated. After all these procedures, the final results will be announced to the public on June 14."
It should be noted that, according to the preliminary results of 100 percent of the ballots processed, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's "Civil Contract" Party won by collecting 49.83 percent of the votes.
The second place was taken by the "Strong Armenia" Party, associated with businessman Samvel Karapetyan, which collected 23.28 percent of the votes. The "Armenia" bloc, led by former president Robert Kocharyan, gained 9.93 percent of the votes.
