Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory letter to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of his “Civil Contract” Party in the parliamentary elections.
Modern.az reports that the Armenian Prime Minister's Office released information about this.
In the congratulatory letter, Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that he sincerely congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his success in the elections.
“I heartily congratulate you on the victory of your “Civil Contract” Party in the snap parliamentary elections held in the Republic of Armenia,” the letter noted.
The President of Uzbekistan emphasized that the election results are an indicator of the Armenian people's high trust in Pashinyan's domestic and foreign policy, including his efforts aimed at ensuring peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus.
Mirziyoyev expressed his confidence that cooperation between the two countries will further expand in the future.
“I am confident that as a result of our joint efforts, we will be able to expand our mutually beneficial cooperation in the future,” the letter stated.
At the end of his letter, the President of Uzbekistan wished Nikol Pashinyan good health, happiness, and success in his state activities, and peace and prosperity to the Armenian people.
