US President Donald Trump spoke about his country's current relations with Israel.
Modern.az reports that in an interview with the US-based "Axios" news portal, Trump evaluated his relations with official Tel Aviv and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"If Netanyahu were asked, he would say they have everything, including bombs and weapons... But if it weren't for Donald Trump, Israel would be destroyed," the President said.
Regarding his relations with Netanyahu, Trump said, "Our relations are good, but we need to keep them at a more reasonable level."
When asked if he could prevent an Israeli attack on Lebanon, Trump said, "Yes, I can. They respect me a lot in Israel and they do what I say."
