Currently, unofficial talks between the US and Russia have resumed, and daily contacts are taking place between Ukraine and Donald Trump's team.
Modern.az reports that "The Economist" has published information about this.
It was stated that one of the ideas discussed is a two-stage ceasefire - first, to limit military operations on both sides of the front line to a width of 50-70 km, and then to conclude a broader agreement.
A high-ranking Ukrainian official stated that Russia is unlikely to take any steps before October.
"The Economist" writes that Russian leader Vladimir Putin cannot be expected to abandon the war against Ukraine. But on the other hand, a new picture has recently been forming, and this is mainly being created by the Ukrainians.
Putin once tried to claim that the war was happening in a distant place. Now, however, Russians are starting to see the smoke with their own eyes. Even in Moscow, the strikes of Ukrainian drones are now visible.
