Iran will temporarily abolish the right of passage through the Strait of Hormuz within the framework of negotiations with the United States.
Modern.az reports that China's "Xinhua" agency disseminated information about this.
According to the information, Iran will suspend the transit fee applied to ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz during the 60-day negotiation period with the US after the signing of the memorandum of understanding.
It should be noted that the Strait of Hormuz is considered a waterway of strategic importance in terms of world energy supply, and a significant part of global oil transportation is carried out precisely through this route.
