In connection with the growing tensions in the Middle East, the US State Department has warned its citizens in various countries around the world.
Modern.az reports that the warning states that the security environment in the Middle East remains complex and the risk of unpredictable escalation is high.
"Americans currently in the Middle East should exercise caution, demonstrate a high level of vigilance, and be prepared for flight cancellations, periodic airspace closures, and potential travel restrictions. Some airlines in the region have postponed the resumption of their previous flight schedules, while others have canceled certain routes," the warning notes.
It is also reported that US diplomatic facilities in the Middle East and beyond have been targeted.
