"Communication with Putin is one of the best and most memorable stories for me," Uitkoff said.
The US President's special representative thanked Putin for the meeting. He also conveyed his gratitude to Putin for the release of the Gilman family and conveyed US President Donald Trump's best wishes to the Russian leader.
