Five Turkish defense industry companies have been included in the “Defense News Top 100” world ranking, which is based on the volume of defense sales in 2025.
Modern.az reports that the total defense revenue of these companies reached 14.9 billion dollars.
40th place – ASELSAN: 4.46 billion dollars.
ASELSAN, Turkey's largest defense company, specializes in military electronics, radar systems, communication tools, electronic warfare, air defense systems, and guided weapons.
48th place – TUSAŞ: 3.65 billion dollars.
TUSAŞ, one of the main companies in the Turkish aviation industry, is engaged in the development and production of fighter jets, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, space systems, and various aviation platforms.
53rd place – ARCA: 3 billion dollars.
ARCA, one of Turkey's rapidly developing defense industry companies, mainly operates in the production of ammunition, artillery shells, and large-caliber ammunition.
64th place – ROKETSAN: 2.37 billion dollars.
ROKETSAN is one of Turkey's main missile weapons manufacturers. The company produces ballistic and cruise missiles, anti-ship complexes, guided ammunition, and reactive systems.
81st place – MKE: 1.42 billion dollars.
State-owned MKE is engaged in the production of barrel artillery systems, firearms, ammunition, explosives, and other essential weapons for ground forces.
Thus, the five Turkish companies included in the ranking cover almost all major directions of the modern defense industry. This includes various fields from military electronics and aviation platforms to missile weapons, artillery, and large-scale ammunition production.
It is noteworthy that Baykar, one of Turkey's export-oriented defense industry companies, is not included in the ranking. The company's revenue in 2025 was 2.5 billion dollars, 88 percent of which came from exports.
“Baykar”'s business volume is comparable to that of leading Turkish companies in the ranking. Based on these indicators, the company could theoretically be a candidate for a place in the top 60 of the “Defense News Top 100” list.
