Özgür Özel, the former chairman of Turkey's opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), has resigned from this political organization.
Modern.az reports, citing Turkish media, that 91 deputies who are supporters of Özgür Özel also left the party with him.
It was also reported that Özgür Özel, who resigned from the CHP, created a political organization called "New Party".
The information states that after these resignations, the CHP will have to be represented in the parliament with only 44 deputies.
