Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has appointed Mohsen Rezaei as the new secretary of the Supreme National Security Council.
Modern.az reports that Seyed Mehdi Tabatabai, deputy head of communications and information affairs of the Iranian president's administration, made a statement about this.
According to the information, Mohammad Baqer Zulgadri will move to another position. His new position has not been announced.
Mohsen Rezaei previously served as the military advisor to Iran's supreme leader. He previously headed the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
