The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran has threatened the United States.

Modern.az reports, citing Mehr news agency, that Brigadier General Hassan Hasanzadeh, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) for Greater Tehran, made a statement about this.

He stated that the country has completed the defense and air defense phase and is currently on the verge of offensive operations.

Hassan Hasanzadeh spoke during the training of special forces units of SEPAH's "Muhammad Rasulullah" division. He commemorated those who died during the 12-day war, the "Ramadan War," and the battles for Hormuz, as well as the fighters of the 27th division.

"We have left behind the phase of defense and air defense confrontation, and today we are on the verge of offensive operations. This is a turning point, and its consequences will soon be felt by the enemies," Hasanzadeh said. He also announced the creation of assault groups, units, and divisions intended for special and rapid operations:

"Today, we are ready to be anywhere in the country in the shortest possible time and to destroy the enemy under any circumstances. Large-scale military exercises called "Janfada-ye Iran" have been conducted. 313,000 people participated in the exercises. On the 27th of Shahrivar, according to the Iranian calendar, which corresponds to September 18, the world will witness the organized and strong participation of the Iranian people. The Iranian Armed Forces are currently stronger than before. Control of the Strait of Hormuz remains in the hands of the Iranian people. Iran is one of the four forces that determine the global balance of power, and on September 18, we will demonstrate the power of the Islamic Republic to the world."
