US President Donald Trump said that the war with Iran will end shortly after the midterm elections in November.

Trump answered a question about when the war would end while answering journalists' questions in Dublin, the capital of Ireland.
“I think very soon. Probably immediately after the midterm elections,” the US President said.
According to Trump, Iran is trying to prolong the conflict as long as possible to make it difficult to hold elections in the US.
“They are trying to last as long as possible to make the elections difficult. But I think people understand what's going on,” Trump emphasized.
The US President added that after the war ends, oil prices will fall sharply.
“After that, oil prices will collapse,” Trump said.
