Persian Gulf countries have dissuaded Donald Trump from striking Iran's energy facilities.
Modern.az reports that the publication "Bloomberg" has disseminated information regarding this.
According to the agency, allies noted that if Washington were to carry out this threat, the war could turn into a catastrophe. The US's partners in the Middle East stated that long-term damage to Iranian infrastructure would almost inevitably lead to the country becoming a “failed state” after the war concludes.
Bloomberg also notes that Trump's decision to postpone strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure is also linked to the desire to calm markets. This decision announced by Trump immediately caused oil prices to fall.
