US President Donald Trump said that the result of the talks between Washington and Tehran will be known within the next 48 hours.
Modern.az reports that Trump told reporters that the fate of the talks between the US and Iran will be clarified in a short time.
"We will know this within 48 hours," the US president emphasized.
Trump noted that if Iran again backs down from its previous position, there will be serious consequences.
"They will pay a heavy price for this. They know and understand this," he added.
The US president also touched upon the situation in the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, the strait is already partially open and the US has full control over this strategic waterway.
