The Jordan Football Association has accused FIFA of pressuring and blackmailing it to support the organization's president, Gianni Infantino.
Modern.az reports that, according to a statement released by the association, FIFA demanded support for Infantino's re-election as president in exchange for assistance in resolving problems related to visas, taxes, and unpaid prizes from international tournaments.
The Jordan Football Association announced that it did not accept this demand and withdrew its support for Gianni Infantino's re-election.
The statement noted that Jordan has joined several other national football federations that have withdrawn their support for Infantino on this issue.
