Iran has suspended gas supplies to Turkey after the Israeli strike.

Modern.az reports that the "Bloomberg" agency disseminated information on this matter, citing sources.

According to the information, gas exports were suspended after Israel struck Iran's large "South Pars" gas field last week. It is reported that Iran accounted for 14 percent of Turkey's natural gas imports in 2025.

It is noted that Ankara currently continues gas imports from Russia and Azerbaijan, and the country also has certain gas reserves. It is not yet known when Iranian gas supplies will be restored.

It should be recalled that on March 18, the administration of Assaluyeh district in Iran's Bushehr province announced that fires had broken out in several facilities in the "South Pars" field as a result of Israeli and US strikes. Following this, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran declared that it could attack oil and gas facilities in the region.

Later, Qatar's "Qatar Energy" company reported that the Ras Laffan industrial zone had been subjected to a missile attack and a fire had broken out in the area. The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced that the attack was carried out with a ballistic missile launched from Iranian territory.
