The counting of ballots from all 2005 polling stations in Armenia has been completed.
Modern.az reports, citing the Central Election Commission of Armenia, that after 100% of the votes were processed, the final percentages of votes for the parties were as follows:
- "Civil Contract" Party (Nikol Pashinyan) – 49.81%
- "Strong Armenia" Bloc (Samvel Karapetyan) – 23.29%
- "Armenia" Bloc (Robert Kocharyan) – 9.94%
- "Prosperous Armenia" Party (Gagik Tsarukyan) – 4%
Although the final results of the elections confirmed the victory of the political force led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the figures show that the ruling party's previous positions have weakened. While Pashinyan's party retains the chance to form a government alone in accordance with the requirements of the country's constitution, the number of seats (mandates) it will hold in the newly formed parliament has significantly decreased compared to previous periods.
