Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the results of the parliamentary elections, stating that the people supported statehood, independence and peace.
Modern.az reports that Pashinyan said that the people defended Armenia's future, statehood and the republic by voting.
In his speech, the Prime Minister emphasized that the political forces he called the “three-headed war party” suffered a heavy defeat.
“This is an important result, but not the final one. The people have clearly expressed their will. The criminal-oligarchic system associated with this political force must be cleansed from Armenia,” Pashinyan said.
