The conversation between the leaders of Azerbaijan and the USA took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
According to the information previously released by the official website of the President of Azerbaijan, during the telephone conversation, Ilham Aliyev and Donald Trump discussed the results of the past year after the Washington Summit, the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the implementation of the TRIPP project, as well as the development of Azerbaijan-US strategic partnership.
It was especially noted that peace and stability have been maintained in the region during the past year, and no incidents that could harm the peace process have occurred.
The parties also positively evaluated the export of Azerbaijani oil products to Armenia, the transit of goods through the territory of Azerbaijan, and the beginning of trade relations between the two countries.
