"The European Union (EU) will continue to support Azerbaijan and Armenia on the path to peace."
Modern.az reports that this was stated by the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Magdalena Grono, in her post on X.
"Today - August 8, 2025 - marks the first anniversary of the historic summit of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States in Washington. The European Union strongly welcomes a number of positive and constructive steps taken since then towards further institutionalizing and advancing the peace process.
The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan have paved the way for lasting and irreversible peace. The European Union continues to support both countries and their societies on the path to peace and reconciliation," Grono wrote.
