A mine explosion occurred in the Gizilqaya village of Khojavand district.
Modern.az reports that the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) issued a joint statement on this matter.
It was reported that on August 7, a bulldozer driven by Elchin Telman oglu Abbasov, a resident of Gazakh district, born in 1961, hit a mine in an unmined area. No one was injured in the incident.
An investigation is being conducted by the Khojavand District Prosecutor's Office regarding the fact.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General's Office once again called on citizens to comply with safety rules, pay close attention to mine hazard signs, not touch suspicious objects, not enter unfamiliar areas, and not interfere with areas where fencing activities are being carried out.
