Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he expects congratulations from Russian President Vladimir Putin on his party's victory in the parliamentary elections held on June 7.
Modern.az reports that Pashinyan spoke about this at a briefing for journalists.
"No, he hasn't congratulated yet. Let's hope he will congratulate," said the head of the Armenian government.
It should be noted that earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov emphasized the importance of waiting for the final results of the elections.
"You know, there were many unclear points there. We saw numerous reports of violations that occurred. Therefore, we prefer to wait for some official final conclusions," Peskov said when answering journalists' question about whether Putin would congratulate Pashinyan.
