US President Donald Trump has applauded the results of the “Alternative for Germany” (AfD) party in the Saxony-Anhalt state parliamentary elections.
Modern.az reports that he made a post about this on the “Truth Social” social network on September 8, two days after the vote.
“Wow! A really big night for the populist party in Germany,” Trump said.
Trump did not directly mention the party's name in his post. However, it is clear from his writings that he was referring to the AfD.
According to the US leader, the party and its supporters are fed up with the “completely terrible migration rules” that have seriously harmed Germany.
