Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov received David Alen, the US Chargé d'Affaires in Armenia, who is on a visit to the country.
Modern.az reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan released information about this.
During the meeting, steps taken towards the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the advancement of the peace process, the establishment of long-term and sustainable peace, as well as the strengthening of stability and security in the region were discussed.
At the same time, views were exchanged on the results of Elnur Mammadov's visit to the US on the occasion of the anniversary of the Washington Peace Summit and the signed trilateral statement, activities carried out towards the implementation of the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP), as well as the establishment of the TRIPP Development Company, which will lead the construction of infrastructure related to the route.
In addition, future cooperation prospects were reviewed in the directions reflected in the Azerbaijan-US bilateral agenda and the Strategic Partnership Charter.
It should be noted that US Chargé d'Affaires in Azerbaijan Amy Karlon also participated in the meeting.
