Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sued the "Strong Armenia" bloc, demanding a retraction of the statement made regarding 300,000 Azerbaijanis.
Modern.az reports that information about this was published on Armenia's judicial portal.
At the end of May, the leader of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, businessman Samvel Karapetyan, stated that if the political force he leads wins the June 7 elections, it plans to adopt a law prohibiting Azerbaijani citizens from buying real estate in Armenia.
According to him, the most important issue for the Armenian people is not to allow the implementation of "Nikol Pashinyan's plan for 300,000 Azerbaijanis to enter Armenia."
Pashinyan is demanding 6 million drams (approximately 16,000 US dollars) in compensation from the "Strong Armenia" bloc.
The case has been assigned to Judge Armenuhi Badiryan.
