Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, stated that the future steps of the organization depend on which path will be more effective to achieve political goals.
"If we are sure that we can remove Pashinyan from power through parliament in the near future, then we will go to parliament. If we see that it is possible through street struggle, we will choose that path."
Modern.az reports that Karapetyan told this to journalists before the court session.
According to him, the main goal of the bloc is not necessarily to enter parliament, but to remove Nikol Pashinyan from power. He also noted that the political force appealed to the Central Election Commission with a demand to annul the election results and schedule a second round of voting.
It was also reported that "Strong Armenia" will appeal to the Constitutional Court of Armenia.
Karapetyan claimed that the elections were "completely unsuccessful, falsified, and held under pressure."
According to him, during and after the election process, the bloc's coordinators in the regions were arrested, and 780 supporters were detained.
The politician believes that the results of the vote do not reflect the real will of the citizens.
"Pashinyan did not win. I said that Armenia needs legitimate power," he added.
