The Armenian court has overturned the arrest warrant issued for Aleksandr Sargsyan, brother of the country's former president Serzh Sargsyan.
Modern.az reports that the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia informed "Armenia Today" publication about this.
The court stated that the prosecutor's complaint regarding the previous decision was not accepted for proceedings.
Thus, the decision regarding Aleksandr Sargsyan's arrest is considered to have lost its force.
It should be noted that Aleksandr Sargsyan has been in the spotlight of law enforcement agencies in recent years within the framework of various corruption and financial investigations in Armenia.
