A phone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi.

According to the information, during the phone conversation, discussions were held on Azerbaijan-Iran bilateral relations, the current situation in the region and the progress of the negotiation process within this framework, and the prospects for a diplomatic and political solution to the situation around Iran.
Minister Abbas Araqchi provided detailed information about the negotiation process.
Jeyhun Bayramov noted that he supports efforts towards a peaceful and negotiated settlement of the conflict.
The ministers also exchanged views on other bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
