Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has accused some individuals in the US government and Israeli supporters of trying to manipulate world energy markets and create conditions for the continuation of war with Iran.

"Our intelligence data indicates large-scale attempts to manipulate energy markets. Players loyal to Israel are also escalating the war by optimistically assessing the situation," the Iranian Foreign Minister said.
He added that US consumers are also feeling the economic consequences of this. According to the minister's claim, some representatives of the US government are using the media to influence energy prices and for their personal purposes.
According to Araqchi, the goal is to bog US President Donald Trump down in a war he will lose.
