A new rule will be implemented in Romania to control the behavior of fans at football matches involving children.

Modern.az reports that the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has decided to introduce a "black card" in tournaments held for age groups from U-7 to U-16. The new disciplinary procedure was approved by the Federation's Emergency Committee on September 11.

The black card will be applied for insults, threats, physical violence, and persistent aggressive behavior by parents and other fans towards children, coaches, referees, and other individuals involved in the match.

The rule consists of three stages. During the first incident, the referee stops the game and asks the coaches to calm the fans. If the behavior continues, the match is suspended for 10 minutes and the teams are sent to the changing room.

If aggressive behavior in the stands continues after the game resumes, the referee ends the match and shows a "black card." In this case, the game is stopped and not continued.

It should be noted that, according to the FRF, this is the first football federation in the world to apply a special card for behavior in the stands. (qol.az)
