Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian proposed the creation of a joint reinsurance company with an initial capital of $10 billion to cover the risks of large infrastructure and energy projects within the framework of BRICS.
Modern.az reports that Pezeshkian spoke about this during his speech at the BRICS Business Forum held in New Delhi.
The Iranian President also called for wider use of national currencies in mutual trade among BRICS countries.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening the role of the New Development Bank and transitioning from raw material trade to joint industrial production.
