Forbes magazine has published a list of the richest businessmen of 2026.
Modern.az reports that the list also includes Ruben Vardanyan, an Armenian citizen and war criminal, who was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Azerbaijani femida for the crimes he committed.
Ruben Vardanyan and his family's personal fortune was announced to be 1.3 billion dollars. With this indicator, he ranked 2858th in the world.
The 57-year-old Vardanyan also ranked first as the prisoner with the most wealth.
It should be noted that Ruben Vardanyan was found guilty of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism and other serious crimes under the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan, and was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment on February 17 of this year.
