The preparation process for Azerbaijani pilgrims' Hajj pilgrimage continues. Members of the Hajj Mission of the Caucasus Muslims Office are already in Saudi Arabia and continue preparations for receiving pilgrims in Mecca.

Vusal Jahangiri, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) and head of the Hajj electronic system, informed Modern.az about this.

He stated that pilgrims will start arriving in Saudi Arabia from May 17.

"Hajj leaders have held several meetings with their groups in Azerbaijan. Pilgrims are provided with all safety instructions, theoretical explanations of Hajj rituals, and other necessary information," said the CMO official.

V. Jahangiri added that the rules and instructions received from the relevant bodies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have also been conveyed to the group leaders:

"Also, the instructions and regulations we received from the relevant ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have been conveyed to the group leaders by us, and they present this information to the attention of the pilgrims. In general, everything is going according to plan. In Saudi Arabia, security and other rules are applied more strictly year by year."

He noted that the hotels where Azerbaijani pilgrims will stay are intended only for Azerbaijani citizens:

"The hotels are booked exclusively for Azerbaijani pilgrims. All conditions for the comfort of our pilgrims have been provided by us."
