On September 11, a two-day visit of representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur began, accompanied by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev.
Modern.az reports that a delegation of 150 people representing 58 countries and 9 international organizations is participating in the visit.
Within the framework of the visit, representatives of the diplomatic corps will get acquainted with the social and economic infrastructure projects implemented within the framework of the large-scale restoration, construction and development process carried out in the cities of Khankendi and Shusha, Aghdara and Kalbajar regions under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the current state of historical and cultural heritage samples, and the measures taken to protect and restore them.
This is the 22nd visit of diplomatic corps representatives to the liberated territories since 2020.
