Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will visit Armenia. He will represent Turkey at the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, to be held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on May 4, under the theme "Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe."
Modern.az reports with reference to Anadolu agency that at the meeting, steps taken towards closer cooperation and coordination to strengthen democratic resilience, improve relations, and strengthen economic and energy security will be evaluated, and recent regional developments and global issues will be discussed.
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz's visit to Yerevan will be the first visit of this level from Turkey to Armenia.
The summit, to which the heads of state and government of 27 EU member states, as well as other European countries and Canada, are invited, is planned to continue in Ireland in November.
