Fighters from NATO countries intercepted an unknown unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Latvian airspace.
Modern.az reports that a representative of the alliance informed journalists about this.
"NATO fighters intercepted an unknown unmanned aerial vehicle in the skies over Latvia," he said.
Earlier, the Latvian Armed Forces also announced the interception of an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle. An air alert was declared in four municipalities located in the east of the republic, and the alarm lasted for approximately 30 minutes.
