US President's Deputy National Security Advisor Andy Baker will leave the Donald Trump administration in the coming weeks.
Modern.az reports that "Axios" spread information citing its sources.
The publication called Baker the "grey cardinal" of Trump's team. He previously served as Vice President J.D. Vance's national security advisor and played a key role in the administration's foreign policy and national security decision-making.
Baker also personally participated in negotiations with Iran this year.
This summer, Cliff Sims was appointed as J.D. Vance's national security advisor and will continue his activities in this post. Mike Needham will remain as Deputy National Security Advisor in the White House.
According to a source close to Baker from "Axios", he decided to leave the administration to spend more time with his family.
